Dr Una Mujadzic

Dr Una Mujadzic graduated from The University of Sarajevo where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Diploma in 2007. At a young age, Dr Una became fascinated with the art of dentistry. As a child, she would visit her mother at work. Una’s mother is a specialist in Restorative Dentistry. Inspired by her as an adult, she went on to complete her dental education, and following her graduation she worked alongside her mother.

Dr Una came to London in 2013 for her Overseas registration exam and successfully passed it, becoming the first registered dentist in the UK from Bosnia. To earn this great honour, she completed many hours of continuing dental education and passed a comprehensive written and practical exam at King’s College London.

During her studies in London, she also worked for a few years as an assistant to Dr Balwant Vekaria (Founder of London Dental Studio and an international course presenter and lecturer on the subject of The Art and Science of Implantology and Aesthetic Smile Makeovers), from whom she has learned everything about comprehensive dentistry, dental implants and smile makeovers. Una is working in Dr Vekaria’s famous Implant surgery in Victoria, which was established over 34 years ago. The first Practice in the UK to have an in-house ‘I-Cat Cone Beam CT Scanner and until these days all of the latest technologies.

Una also assisted Dr O. Hilt Tatum in a few surgical procedures (Dr Tatum is a pioneer in Implantology and the first clinician to perform a sinus lift procedure), founder of Tatum implants institute, he presented over 2000 professional presentations worldwide. In 2003 Dr Tatum was awarded the Chevalier of the French Legion of Honour by French President Jacques Chirac in recognition of his contributions to the healing sciences in many surgical procedures.

Furthermore, for several years, Una has been under the mentorship of Dr Azhar Sheik. Dr Sheikh is a trusted and established figure in UK Implant Dentistry, 1984 Co-Founder of London Dental Studio, Founder of Life Dental Implants, director, lecturer and presenter with Practical Implantology Academy.

Dr Una Is heavily involved in continuing postgraduate education. As a lifelong student, she engages with up-to-date research to provide dental care that is both comprehensive and current. Dr Una is a talented provider of functional aesthetic treatment and simple and complex restorations. Because of her advanced training, she can develop health-oriented treatment plans that may involve steps ranging from aesthetic dental fillings, crowns and veneers placement or implant placement to a smile makeover.

In her spare time, Dr Una loves doing yoga, going to a gym, painting and enjoying the music and arts scene.
